O. 9'-lignan and a novel antidiabetic agent containing the substance as an active ingredient.n n n The new antidiabetic agent according to the present invention is expected to have an excellent hypoglycemic activity and a very high safety compared to the drugs widely used as an oral hypoglycemic agent, and also to significantly reduce side effects compared to the existing drugs.
