| abstract | An apparatus for dispensing a test strip and a method of using the same are provided. The device of the present invention is characterized by having a cover and a base configured to hold a plurality of test strips. In certain embodiments, the height of the base is less than the height of each of the test strips, so that a portion of each test strip extends beyond the distal or top edge of the base. The device of the present invention is further characterized as having a substantially airtight and moisture proof seal. In the use of the device of the present invention, a plurality of test strips stored in the device of the present invention are provided. By moving the test strip in the distal direction relative to the remaining test strip, a single test strip is removed. Also provided by the present invention are kits for use in practicing the methods of the present invention. |
