titleOfInvention | Prepartion and application of porcine small intestine submucosa for tissue regeneration |
abstract | The present invention is intended to be applied as an easy material for regeneration of damaged tissues using submucosal tissues of swine containing bioactive substances such as cytokines and growth factors. Various proteins, which are bioactive substances, play a very important role in tissue regeneration, and are deeply involved in tissue regeneration such as promoting or migrating cells and inducing differentiation. The small intestinal submucosa can be prepared in various forms in the form of a film, tube, powder, solution, and the like, and can be manufactured and used in a desired form according to the damaged tissue. Various bioactive substances were extracted from submucosal tissues and cultured fibroblasts were observed to stimulate cell growth. It was observed that the defective area was recovered. In addition, it was observed that the extract of the small intestinal submucosa induces neuronal phenotype of PC-12 cells. In this way, the small intestinal submucosa was prepared in the form of a tube to confirm the regeneration of the damaged sciatic nerve of the rat. |
