abstract | The present invention provides a reactor by contacting a zeolite catalyst with methanol and ammonia, contacting methanol, a methylamine mixture and ammonia, or contacting a methylamine mixture and ammonia, and recovering unreacted methanol in the reaction product. When recycling to ethanol, the aldehyde compound in methanol is reacted with monomethylamine and / or ammonia to be discharged from the bottom of the column together with water in a methanol recovery distillation column, and the methanol is discharged from the top of the column to recover the reactor. It is related with the manufacturing method of methylamine. In the method of the present invention, the zeolite catalyst can be continuously used for a long time by removing the aldehyde compound which is the cause of lowering the activity of the zeolite catalyst. |
