abstract |
The present invention is a rheology comprising a melt blend of ethylene / alpha (α) -olefin polymers and high-melting point polymers such as polypropylene or propylene / α-olefin copolymers, modified with compositions of peroxides and free radical aids. A modified thermoplastic elastomer composition. This composition has an elastomeric phase and a non-elastomeric phase and has properties that surpass those of similar compositions modified only with peroxides. The composition can be used for the manufacture of various products, such as automotive instrument panel shells, through calendering and thermoforming. |
