titleOfInvention | A New Stress-Resistance Transcription Factor Gene, its Protein and A Transfected Plant by the Gend |
abstract | The present invention relates to CaPIF1, a pathogen-induced capsicum transcription factor comprising a plant specific TFIIIA-type C2H2 zinc finger domain motif isolated from a capsicum cDNA library.n n n The present invention relates to a DNA encoding a plant stress resistance inducing transcription factor having a C2H2-type zinc finger motif or a DNA hybridizable thereto, a plant stress resistance inducing transcription factor protein encoded by the DNA, and a DNA to stress the plant. An expression vector for plant transformation capable of imparting resistance, a plant cell transformed by the expression vector, a stress resistant plant individual transformed by the expression vector, and a farm product produced by the stress resistant plant individual are provided. In another aspect, the present invention provides a method for introducing stress to the plant by introducing the DNA into the plant.n n n According to the present invention, it is possible to easily and systematically breed useful plants having resistance to various biological and abiotic stresses. |
