INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be most suitably used in fields where color development and fluidity of inkjet recording liquids and color filter compositions for color filters are required to be higher, and also applicable to fields such as printing inks, and finer particle sizes of pigments. The present invention provides a method for producing a pigment dispersion, which is dispersed up to and having a very high dispersion stability over time.n n n The mixture comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of pigments, polymer emulsifiers having an HLB of 5 or more and surfactants having an HLB of 5 or more and an aqueous medium is passed under pressure in an orifice having no curved and curved portions, and then the mixture. It is a method for producing an aqueous pigment dispersion, characterized in that the pigment is dispersed in an aqueous medium by blowing to a pre-flowed mixture stayed in a hollow member having a diameter larger than the orifice. |
