abstract | The storage capacitor of the active matrix liquid crystal display is formed with a second electrode 28 having a plurality of fingers 50 extending over the second electrode 10. The second electrode 28 and the drain electrode 30 of the storage capacitor can be formed from a single metallization layer. The widths of the fingers 50 of the drain electrode 30 and the second electrode 10 will tend to change together as a result of any process change in the manufacturing process. The feature of varying widths tends to offset changes in kickback voltage. |
