Humanized antibodies to the epidermal growth factor receptor |
abstract |
The present invention provides a humanized form of antibody 340 that can be obtained from a cell line deposited with ECACC under accession number 9701428. These antibodies have been found to have an increased ability to kill cells compared to murine antibody 340. The present invention also provides nucleic acids encoding such antibodies, and in particular the use of the antibodies as drugs in the treatment of cancer. |
