abstract | The methacrylic resin of the present invention is characterized in that a composition containing methyl methacrylate and a specific compound is copolymerized in the presence of a radical initiator. In addition, the transparent member of the present invention, the automobile transparent member, and the display transparent member may be formed by molding the methacrylic resin of the present invention.n n n ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the methacrylic resin which is excellent in transparency, heat resistance, chemical-resistance, and impact resistance can be provided efficiently, without involving runaway of a polymerization reaction.n n n Moreover, according to this invention, the transparent member, the transparent member for automobiles, and the transparent member for displays which are formed from the methacryl-type resin of this invention and are excellent in characteristics, such as transparency, heat resistance, and impact resistance, can be provided. |
