titleOfInvention Method for preparation of binder-free pressed powder and cosmetic compositions made thereby
abstract According to the present invention, a mixture of a polydimethylsiloxane elastomer particulate powder and a cosmetic inorganic or organic powder is kneaded into a polar solvent in a paste or slurry form or squeezed with a polar solvent, followed by molding to remove the remaining polar solvent in the molding. The present invention relates to a method for preparing a compressed powder cosmetic composition containing no liquid or solid binder which forms a microsponge structure by interparticle bonding of dimethylsiloxane elastomer microparticles, and to a composition, whereby a compressed powder having elasticity is produced. By adjusting the interparticle bonding force of the polydimethylsiloxane elastomer microparticles, it is easy to dissociate into a loose powder to prepare a cosmetic compressed powder that can be easily applied to any part of the face or body.
