The photocatalyst support structure of the present invention comprises a porous substrate, a photocatalyst layer supported on the surface of the porous substrate, and a metal supported on the photocatalyst layer. Since metal is localized on the surface of the photocatalyst layer, it can be efficiently used for the photocatalytic reaction. This photocatalyst support structure is suitably manufactured by the method of including the process of forming a photocatalyst layer on the surface of a porous base, and the process of supporting a metal in the surface of this photocatalyst layer. The photocatalyst filter device of the present invention is mainly composed of the photocatalyst support structure of the present invention. |
