titleOfInvention Method for Producing and Processing a Cellulose Solution
abstract The present invention relates to a process for the preparation and processing of a cellulose solution obtained by dissolving cellulose in a tertiary piperidonyl oxide amine, preferably NMMO. In this method, the dissolved cellulose is subsequently molded and solidified and the solvent is removed. In this method the tertiary amine is N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMO). Piperidonyl NMMO is prepared by distilling water from aqueous NMMO and piperidone. It is preferable that the temperature at the time of manufacture of a cellulose solution is 60-130 degreeC.
