titleOfInvention Gas discharge lamp and method of its manufacture
abstract The present invention relates to a gas discharge lamp 100 and a method of manufacturing the same. The known gas discharge lamp 100 is a capacitive coupling of a hollow glass body 120 filled with a gas excited to generate light through the supply of energy, and energy into a gas inside the hollow glass body 120. It includes at least one ceramic electrode (140a, 140b) fixed to the hollow glass body for. It is an object of the present invention to simplify the manufacture of the gas discharge lamp 100. This means that the glass material constituting the hollow glass body 120 and the ceramic materials 140a and 140b constituting the ceramic electrode are selected such that the thermal expansion coefficient of the materials is at least approximated, and the glass tube is fixed to the ceramic electrode through direct fusion. It is achieved according to the invention.
