The present invention provides an organic electrolyte and a lithium battery employing the same. The organic electrolyte solution includes an organic solvent, a lithium salt, and a disulfide compound. The organic electrolyte solution according to the present invention contains a disulfide compound as described above, and employing such an organic electrolyte solution can produce a lithium battery having improved discharge capacity, cycle life, and charge / discharge characteristics. |
