titleOfInvention | False Gasoline Detector Using Fiber Optics Refractometer |
abstract | The present invention relates to a mechanism for easily identifying similar gasoline as the gasoline similarly distributed in recent years causing a large social problem. It is a mechanism that utilizes an optical fiber and a group of optical components as a refractive index change sensor, paying attention to the change of the refractive index according to the type and concentration of the material. When light propagates into heterogeneous media, the optical path changes depending on the refractive index, and part of the light escapes the optical path, leading to loss. In this way, various states of the material can be predicted from the amount of light finally transmitted and sensed. The optical structure of FIG. 4 is used to effectively measure / implement the amount of light loss due to the change of refractive index.n n n The present invention is a refractometer that can be applied not only to pseudo gasoline, but also to water content in water, liquid level sensors, and chemical analysis. |
