abstract | A polyester composition containing a ligand capable of coordinating to a metal or metal ion, wherein the ligand is a polyester composition containing at least one atom selected from the group consisting of nitrogen atoms, sulfur atoms and oxygen atoms as donor atoms, The metal catalyst which adversely affects heat resistance can be inactivated. Thereby, the polyester composition and film excellent in heat resistance, coloring property, and weather resistance can be obtained.n n n Further, in the polyester production process, the catalyst is separated and recovered by adding a ligand which is coordinable to metals or metal ions and contains at least one donor atom selected from the group consisting of nitrogen atoms, sulfur atoms, and oxygen atoms. Thereby, the heat resistance of a polyester composition can be improved. |
