abstract |
The filter membrane for a display device of the present invention has a structure in which nano-sized metal fine particles adhere to the surface of an oxide particle, and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) that selectively resonates light of a specific wavelength band at a metal / oxide interface. The phenomenon is induced. The filter membrane is a) forming an oxide sol in which the oxide is dispersed in water; b) adding a metal salt, a reducing agent and a dispersant to the alcohol solution to produce a particulate metal colloidal solution; c) preparing a coating liquid in which fine metal colloid is dispersed in the oxide sol by adding the metal colloidal solution prepared in step b) to the oxide sol formed in step a); d) applying the mixed coating liquid to a panel for a display device to form a coating film; And e) drying the coating film at room temperature. The filter film of the present invention can absorb light having a wavelength overlapping the emission peaks of the phosphor, thereby improving contrast and color reproduction range of display devices such as cathode ray tubes and flat panel displays. |
