The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an object having a potential {x} generated in response to an applied field {f}, wherein the geometric model of the object is discretized within a plurality of defined elements 802 to define the defined element. By specifying values for potential {x} and field {x} for 802, a computerized mathematical model 801 of the object is generated. The material properties 804 of the confined element 802 are specified to have a particular balance and material properties 804. The matrix [k] is calculated based on the following relationship {f} = [k] {x} and the specified balance. Material property coefficients are extracted from the material property matrix for each element 802 of the mathematical model 801, and the extracted material property coefficients are compared to the material property coefficients of known materials and the material property coefficients are known. To match the material property coefficient of. Fabrication parameters 805 for controlling fabrication equipment are determined based on the matched material property coefficients, and fabrication equipment is controlled according to the fabrication parameters 805 determined to produce the object. |
