The stretch panel is located at one of the waist zones and includes a waist end, a pair of transversely facing outer ends positioned transversely beyond the side ends of the absorbent chassis, and an inner end located longitudinally from the waist end. The main pair of fasteners are located on the transversely opposite outer ends of the stretch panel and are pre-bonded by detachably prebonding to the waist region opposite the absorbent chassis to securely secure the front waist region to the back waist region.
