The present invention relates to a method for preparing 1,3-alkanediol from 3-hydroxyester compound, and more particularly, to an aqueous copper salt solution by adding an alkaline precipitant such as an alkali carbonate or sodium hydroxide to produce particles. Using a catalyst prepared by addition of colloidal silica, the 3-hydroxyester compound was hydrogenated under an alcohol solvent or a mixed solvent of alcohol and a high boiling point solvent having a boiling point higher than that of 1,3-alkanediol. The present invention relates to a method for producing alkanediol, and the present invention can provide a more efficient method for preparing 1,3-alkanediol. |
