titleOfInvention Charcoal filled hydrogels dressings and process for preparing thereof by irradiation
abstract The present invention relates to a hydrogel dressing, specifically, a charcoal-filled hydrogel dressing composed of polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone and charcoal and a polymer aqueous solution are lyophilized to form a sheet, and then irradiated with radiation to prepare a hydrogel dressing. By doing so, the prepared hydrogel dressing has excellent gel strength and adhesion to wounds, removes stickiness of unreacted polymers remaining on the dressing surface, and adsorbs pathogenic bacteria as the char is contained, thereby infecting and infecting wounds. By inhibiting the proliferation of the wound healing effect is improved can be suitably used as a dressing for wound treatment.
