Direct separation and extraction of type i atelocollagen |
abstract |
Telopeptide, located at the molecular end of collagen type 1, is the main cause of immune response. When used as a raw material for medicines or cosmetics, telopeptide is removed by treating soluble collagen with pepsin again. Collagen (atelocollagen) is used. However, this method requires a multi-step process, which is disadvantageous in that it takes time and cost. The present invention provides a simple and economical method for directly separating and extracting high purity atelo collagen by putting mammalian tissue in an acid solution and pulverizing the enzyme immediately. |
