abstract The present invention relates to a method for enhancing homologous recombination efficiency and chromosomal transformation efficiency by using a plant in which microorganism recombinase A (recA) is expressed in a plastid. Specifically, a transgenic plant is produced by transforming the nucleus of the plant with a vector containing a plastid targeting sequence in the microorganism recombinase gene, and the target gene is included in the plastid of the plant. With the introduction of the vector, homologous recombination efficiencies were significantly increased, reducing selection times to 1/2 to 1/3 compared with conventional plants without microbial recombination. The present invention relates to a method for producing a chromosomal transgenic plant.
