| abstract | Absorbent articles having a relockable mechanism are described. The absorbent article has a front part, a back part, and an inguinal part. The groin connects the anterior part with the posterior part. The rear portion has a first distal end, a second distal end, a first side edge and a second side edge. The rear part is divided into a first zone and a second zone. The first zone can extend in one or more directions and has a length L 2 measured vertically from the first end of the back to the line parallel to it. The second zone has a length L 3 measured vertically from the second end of the back to the line parallel to the first end. The L 2 / L 3 ratio is established in the range of about 0.1 to about 2. First and second fasteners are placed adjacent to and secured to one of the first and second side edges of the rear portion. In addition, the absorbent article includes an absorbent body secured to one or more of the front, rear, or inguinal parts. The first and second fasteners are each detachably attached to the front portion to form a panty absorbent article having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. |
