SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve the drawbacks of the prior art, to provide a liquid crystal compound having a large absolute value of dielectric anisotropy (| Δε |) and a relatively small refractive index anisotropy, and containing such a compound to enable low voltage driving in various display systems.
