The present invention provides a vector obtained by recombining a dimeric gene vapk in which a pair of gene fragments vapk encoding a polypeptide VapK having alkaline protease activity derived from Vibrio metschnikovii KS1 is paired, and introducing the recombinant vector. An E. coli, Vibrio metschnikovii transformant, and a method of producing alkaline protease using these transformants are provided. |
