A thermoplastic composition comprising: (A) 0.1 mol% of a unit derived from an olefin of the formula CH 2 = CHR wherein R is hydrogen, a C 2 -C 20 alkyl or a C 6 -C 12 aryl group, To 5% by mole of propylene polymer and 10% to 99% by weight of propylene polymer having the following characteristics: 50 < isotactic triad (mm) < 85 (mm); A melting point (Tm) of 60 to 120 DEG C, and (B) an isotactic structure inherently having the formula CH 2 = CHR wherein R is hydrogen, a C 2 to C 20 alkyl or a C 6 to C 12 aryl group, 1% to 90% by weight of a propylene polymer optionally containing from 0.1% to 5% by mole of units derived from olefin and having a melting point (Tm) of greater than 153 ° C. A method for producing the thermoplastic composition is also described. |
