| abstract | The present application is directed to a pantyliner that can be dispersed in water having a body liner capable of triggerable dispersion, a garment side baffle layer and optionally an absorbent core capable of triggered dispersion located between the liner and baffle layer. The garment baffle layer may be biodegradable. In one embodiment, the invention has a release strip covering a garment attachment adhesive layer that adhesively attaches the release strip to one side of the wearer's garment and to the opposite baffle layer. In addition, the other side of the baffle layer is attached to the body portion by the structural adhesive. The body side can be made from a number of layers such as the body liner and the absorber layer. |
