The present invention relates to a method of treating corn grains, the method comprising: crushing corn grains having a total oil content of at least about 8%; And extracting corn oil from the flaked corn grains. This method can be performed by treating corn grains with high oil content using methods and apparatus commonly used to treat soybeans and other similar types of oilseeds.
