The present invention is prepared by mixing (i) 0.1 to 9% by weight of water, (ii) at least 80% by weight of volatile cyclic alkyl siloxanes or volatile linear alkyl siloxanes, and (iii) 3 to 10% by weight of certain silicone polyether surfactants. A very stable and transparent water-in-oil microemulsion containing only a small amount of water and spontaneously formed, prepared by shaking by hand. The microemulsions are useful in body care products. |
