| abstract |
An assembly 1 is provided to be detachably mounted to the body fluid monitoring system 9. The assembly has means 33, 34; 32 and a lancet 4 for collecting and detecting body fluids. The lancet has a puncture needle 41 which remains sterilized until use. The assembly comprises a first housing 2 having a sleeve 21 movably receiving the lancet therein and a second housing having a body fluid detecting means 32. The first housing 2 and the second housing 3 share the opening 22. The lancet 4 is disinfected before assembly. The body fluid collection and detection section has body guides 34a and 34b around the inlet. |
