titleOfInvention | Preparation of lithium secondary battery employing gelled polymer electrolyte |
abstract | The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery employing a gel polymer electrolyte, and the manufacturing method according to the present invention is prepared by directly applying or casting a cathode active material slurry or an anode active material slurry onto a current collector and then laminating it. An electrode structure is prepared by interposing a porous membrane between the cathode electrode plate and the anode electrode plate, and then placed in a case, and injected with a composition for forming an electrolyte including a non-aqueous organic electrolyte solution, a crosslinking agent, and a polymerization initiator, and then irradiated with light or heated. To manufacture a battery. At this time, if necessary, a polymer or a vinyl monomer may be further added to the composition for forming an electrolyte. When the composition for forming an electrolyte is irradiated with light or heated, crosslinking is formed between the crosslinking agent or between the crosslinking agent and the polymer or vinyl monomer, thereby forming a gel polymer electrolyte. The manufacturing method of this invention has the advantage that it can use a manufacturing method of a normal lithium ion battery or a lithium polymer battery as it is. In addition, since the electrode plate and the electrolyte can be tightly integrated, the mechanical properties are excellent and the electrolyte is stably trapped, which is useful in that there is no risk of leakage. |
