Inorganic oxides with mesoporosity or combined meso-and microporosity and process for the preparation thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a bimodal amorphous inorganic material having unique mesopores and micropore peaks in pore size distribution plots. The method of the present invention for producing a material that essentially contains only two peak materials or mesopores involves heating the inorganic oxide in the presence of a material that bonds to the inorganic oxide by hydrogen bonding. |
