abstract The present invention relates to a granular coated sodium percarbonate for detergent and a method for preparing the same, and more particularly, to form an inner skin layer with a coating of a specific composition containing an alkali metal silicate on the surface of sodium percarbonate, and then an alkali metal sulfate thereon. By forming the outer coating layer with a coating composition of another composition, such as to form a multi-coating film, the solubility in water is excellent, in particular, no caking occurs during transportation and storage, and the zeolite builder has excellent stability. It relates to granular coated sodium percarbonate useful as a bleach in the detergent compositions included and to a process for preparing the same.
