abstract | Disclosed are an electric energy storage device and a method of manufacturing the same, which can significantly reduce thickness and resistance by eliminating a separate separator. The electrical energy storage device includes a cathode, an anode, and an electrolyte in which a coating film of a porous polymer material is formed as a separator. In order to manufacture this, first, a polymer mixture obtained by mixing a polymer material and a solvent is coated on a negative electrode, and 30% or more of the solvent is removed to prepare a negative electrode in which a coated membrane of the dried porous polymer material is formed as a separator. The obtained negative electrode and the positive electrode are assembled to form a cell, and the cell is impregnated with an electrolytic solution to manufacture an electric energy storage device. ESR characteristics are improved and manufacture of the wound device is easy. |
