abstract | The present invention relates to a homogeneous active species catalyst for producing polyethylene, a preparation method thereof and a polymerization method using the same, and more particularly, to homopolymerization of ethylene or copolymerization of ethylene and α-olefin to prepare high density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene. In the present invention, the present invention relates to a homogeneous active species catalyst having a novel structure represented by Chemical Formula 1, 2, or 3 and having a ligand capable of covalent and coordinating coordination with a central metal element, a preparation method thereof, and a polymerization method using the same.
