abstract | A method of adhering an organic paint to the surface of a glass sheet and a product produced thereby are disclosed. This method applies a layer of waterborne silicate paint to the surface of the glass sheet, heats the paint to cure, molds the glass sheet, sensitizes the waterborne paint with a layer of silane material, and organics on the layer of sensitized waterborne silicate paint. Applying a layer of paint and curing the organic paint to provide an organic paint adhered to the glass surface. |
