Catalyst for olefin polymerization and process for producing olefin polymer |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a compound capable of forming an ionic complex by reacting with (A) a transition metal compound, (B) an oxygen-containing compound or a transition metal compound, (C) a reaction product of triphenylmethyl alcohol and triisobutylaluminum, It relates to a catalyst for the polymerization of olefins comprising a specific compound and optionally (D) alkylating agent, and a method for producing an olefin polymer using the catalyst. Catalysts have the advantage of promoting polymerization activity and reducing the amount of promoters such as oxygen containing compounds and the like. Using these, an olefin polymer can be manufactured efficiently and inexpensively. |
