titleOfInvention | Screening test for early detection of colorectal cancer |
abstract | The present invention provides a method to detect a tumor or cancer of the colon or rectum, from the workplace of the patient in particular step and 12 to 20 carbon atoms, which take a sample of colorectal mucus, CH 3 (CH 2) 14 CHO and CH 3 (CH 2 ) detecting the presence of an indication selected from the group consisting of long chain aliphatic aldehydes and plasmagen-binding precursors including 16 CHO. Preferably, the method comprises healing the sample with a Schiff reagent and detecting tumors or cancers of the rectum or colon based on the coloration generated at about 550-590 nm in the sample by the treatment. The method comprises monosaccharides containing the disaccharide label β-D-Gal (1-3) -D-GalNAc (α1-Thr / Ser) and D-galactose and / or 2-acetamide-2-dioxy-D-galactose. There is no need to add an enzyme to find the label. |
