titleOfInvention | Novel Receptor Protein and Method for Diagnosing Inflammatory Diseases by Using the Same |
abstract | The present invention discloses a novel seven times transmembrane receptor protein found in immature dendritic cells and DNA encoding the same. The present invention also provides a replicable recombinant DNA obtained by assembling the above-described DNA into a replicable expression vector; Microorganisms or cultured cells transformed with the replicable recombinant DNA described above; Seven transmembrane receptor proteins prepared on the cell surface of said transformants; A method for screening a ligand for the seventh transmembrane receptor protein or a substance that inhibits the binding of the ligand and the seventh transmembrane receptor protein; And an antibody capable of binding to the seven transmembrane receptor proteins. The present invention also discloses a method for diagnosing inflammatory diseases such as rheumatism comprising measuring the expression level of seven transmembrane receptor proteins expressed in human leukocytes. |
