titleOfInvention | Process for working up reaction mixtures from carbonylation of haloacetic esters by extraction |
abstract | The present invention provides a process for contacting the reaction mixture from carbonylation of haloacetic esters with an aqueous acid and an oxidant, followed by continuous phase separation, wherein the obtained aqueous phase is extracted with an extractant and the extract and organic phase are washed. Is applied, precipitates the transition metal, removes additional trace metals, optionally using a selective ion exchanger, acidifies the aqueous solution to carry out pyrolysis, and gives alkali metal chloride by evaporation crystallization. It relates to a method for treating the above-mentioned reaction mixture, including the above. |
