abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the hydrogenation of nitro compounds to produce amines, characterized in that the hydrogenation is carried out in a vertical reactor whose diameter is longer than its length. The reactor includes a jet nozzle disposed in the upper region of the reactor and downward. The adduct and reaction mixture are moved through the jet nozzle. In addition, the reactor has an outlet located at any point in the reactor through which the reaction mixture of the external circuit is moved back to the jet nozzle through the transport engine, and the reactor has a counter flow located in the lower region of the reactor. |
