titleOfInvention | Method for the electrochemical detection of nucleic acid oligomer hybrids |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for electrochemically detecting a hybrid of a sequence-specific nucleic acid oligomer. For this purpose, the DNA / RNA / PNA oligomer strand is used as a hybrid medium (probe) in a covalent attachment on the shared support surface and the redox pair at the other free end. As a result of the reaction with the aqueous solution of the oligonucleotide (target) to be irradiated, the initial or weak electrical conduction changes between the conductive surface and the redox active material linked with the single stranded oligonucleotide. In the hybrid case, the electrical conduction between the support surface and the redox pair is coupled to the hybridized double stranded oligonucleotide and increased. Using these, the cyclic voltammetry. Such as an ammeter or a conductivity measuring instrument, may be used to detect the hybrid. |
