In a display device in which matrix light is arranged using an organic electroluminescent element of an image light fetch-type as a pixel, a partition is disposed as a structure that blocks light on the surface side of the substrate. In this case, a mounting structure of a higher aperture ratio is realized.n n n A display device has a board | substrate and the partition which isolate | separates the some pixel and adjacent pixel formed on it from each other. Each pixel includes a lower layer part LL including wirings X, Y, and Z formed on a substrate, an upper layer part UL including an organic electroluminescent element OLED, a lower layer part LL, and an upper layer part UL. It includes a middle layer (ML) that electrically insulates each other. The organic electroluminescent element OLED is connected to the wiring M through the contact hole CON opened in the middle layer ML. The partition wall is disposed in the upper layer portion UL so as to overlap with the region including the contact hole CON which is not suitable for forming the organic electroluminescent element OLED. |
