abstract |
The method demonstrates that amino acids chlorides from protected amino acids can be used to utilize triphosphine as an effective binding reagent during peptide synthesis. This process is particularly useful for binding other amino acids that are useful at the time of binding to spatially hindered amino acids or are difficult. The same reagent can also be used to make amino acid bonds between the free amines on the peptide and the carboxylic acid to make peptide derivative derivatives or to bind amino acids to solid supports. |
