titleOfInvention | Grb2-shc binding inhibitory compounds, process for isolating them from a microorganism and composition comprising same for inhibiting grb2-shc binding |
abstract | The present invention provides a novel compound of Formula 1, Grb2-Shc binding inhibitory compound having Grb2-Shc (Growth factor receptor-bound 2-Src homologous and collagen) binding inhibitory activity, from a Penicillium multicolor F1753 strain. The present invention relates to a method for isolation and to a composition for inhibiting Grb2-Shc binding containing the inhibitory compound, wherein the compound of the present invention inhibits the binding of Grb2 and Shc involved in the intracellular signal transduction process. It can be used as a new kind of anticancer agent because it inhibits the differentiation and growth of cancer cells through the regulation of expression and signaling through the Ras protein. In addition, it modulates intracellular signaling and can be used as a therapeutic agent for asthmas, cancer metastasis, cardiovascular disease and autoimmune disease, and is also useful for the study of intracellular signaling mechanisms. |
