Disclosed is a configuration in which defective display is suppressed and damage to the image display apparatus is suppressed when the power supply is turned on, when the power supply is stopped, when the outlet is unplugged or when the power is cut off. In particular, a configuration is disclosed in which a scan signal, a modulation signal input to the display panel, or an application of an acceleration potential is stopped for a predetermined time when the power supply is turned on. Moreover, the structure which stops input of a scanning signal and a modulation signal to a display panel especially in the case of power supply OFF is disclosed. |
