abstract |
The present invention relates to a functional microbial complex preparation mainly based on the genus Rhodoschudomonas bacteria producing a carotenoid-based physiologically active substance, and to a method of using the same. More specifically, the genus Rhodoschudomonas bacteria having a characteristic of producing carotenoids and accumulating in cells (KCTC 8937P), a microbial complex preparation including the genus Rhodoschudomonas consisting of lactic acid bacteria, yeast, Bacillus subtilis and excipients and a method of using the same as an additive for livestock feed. By cultivating the microbial complex preparation of the present invention to feed the livestock has the effect of improving the health of the livestock and resistance to disease to reduce mortality and maximize the efficiency of the feed. |
