titleOfInvention | Method of producing polylactic acid microspheres |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing polylactic acid particles, comprising the use of alkyl lactate monomers such as methyl lactate and ethyl lactate, stabilizers and high efficiency catalysts, and by conducting condensation polymerization within the particles using supercritical carbon dioxide as a dispersion medium. The preparation of high molecular weight polylactic acid in the form of particles useful as a biodegradable and biocompatible material. In the case of using a supercritical fluid as a dispersion medium, polylactic acid in the form of particles and a high molecular weight can be prepared. There is no need to use harmful solvents as in the above, it is possible to simplify the special apparatus and complex process for removing the reaction by-products of the direct condensation polymerization, it is possible to obtain the effect that does not need to wash the result. |
